Why did I choose this study programme?

Since my bachelor's studies, I have acquired a passion for Public Health and knew I wanted to purse it further. When I came across the Global Public Health Program at Deggendorf Institute of Technology, it felt like the perfect fit. The curriculum had everything I was looking for.

My personal tip for you:

Be open to Cultural Diversity. Global Public Health is an international field and you will study with people from all over the world. This mean you will not only learn about different healthcare systems but also experience new cultures. You will make friends from different backgrounds, share ideas and gain a global perspective on health challenges. Being open-minded and willing to learn from others will make your experience even more enriching.

The field is vast and interdisciplinary, requiring knowledge of epidemiology, economics, laws and technologies.

My best experience during my studies:

So far, my experience has been really rewarding. The course is challenging but interesting and I have learned so much about health polices, epidemiology, economics and technologies. What stands out the most is the peopleI have met. I now have friends from all over the world and we have had great experiences together. Studying here has definitely expanded my perspective, both academically and personally.
