Family Friendliness

Your work environment
DIT is not only the most research-intensive and most international University of Applied Sciences in Bavaria, it is also the fastest growing. The three study locations and the 17 innovation and technology campuses form the ideal environment for research and teaching. The Wörth-Wiesent Technology Campus is located directly on the A3 motorway in the Wörth-Wiesent industrial estate, which makes it easy to reach from Regensburg and Straubing both by car and by public transport. The modern, air-conditioned offices offer a comfortable working environment and there is free parking. The town of Wörth, only around 2 kilometers away, also offers an indoor and outdoor swimming pool as well as a wide range of specialist stores and supermarkets. Public libraries, the Danube cycle path and the "Hölle" nature reserve add to the extensive range of amenities. Educational facilities such as primary and secondary schools are also available in Wiesent and Wörth, while secondary schools in Neutraubling, Regensburg and Straubing are within easy reach.
