Lecturer: Prof. Dr. Stefan Hagl – Professor of Statistics, specialist in machine learning and quantitative methods
Participants will consolidate their knowledge of descriptive statistics, particularly for univariate and bivariate descriptions as well as correlation and regression issues, and focus on strengthening their understanding of the concepts of inductive statistics based on probability theory. The course will demonstrate how to create the necessary models with random variables, test functions and their probability distributions. Participants will learn about the basic concepts of common distribution-based and distribution-free test procedures and apply them in a targeted manner.
