Why come to university just to study? We want to show you that university life is about so much more! On Friday, July 3, 2026, we’re bringing a genuine festival vibe right to the doorsteps of the lecture halls at the Deggendorf campus, running from 1:00 PM until midnight.
Whether you’re a student, an international student, Alumni, a school student, or just an outside festival fan—everyone is welcome! Forget the curriculum for a day and join us in celebrating community and new connections. Organized by students as part of a university certificate program from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Media Technology, we are transforming the campus into a vibrant festival zone featuring a diverse range of areas.

Of course, you don’t have to walk! Arrangements for the shuttle buses are already in full swing so that you can join in the celebrations without any hassle. You can find more detailed information in the app.
WHAT to expect
- Two party zones: On one stage, a variety of live acts await you, whilst the second stage will feature DJs playing club sounds.
- Light show at dusk: As soon as it gets dark, spectacular light projections will transform the facades of the university buildings into a giant screen.
- Action and fun: Various games and hands-on activities across the site will ensure plenty of variety and a great atmosphere.
- Global Roots and Local Vibes: Our colourful activity stands and cosy lounges are the perfect place to meet new people in a relaxed atmosphere.
- Chillout and Alumni Corner: Here you can take a breat, catch up with old friends and make valuable contacts.
- Food trucks and canteen: From savoury snacks to sweet treats, the stalls have something to satisfy every craving.
