Marco Wendel has more than 15 years of professional experience in the MedTech and Digital Health sectors. He began his career at Medical Valley EMN e.V., where he initially worked as a project manager for innovation management and market access support projects for medical technology companies. He now serves as the association’s Managing Director.
Between 2018 and 2022, Marco was CEO of Medical Valley Digital Health Application Center GmbH, a digital CRO that supports manufacturers of digital health applications in Germany’s DiGA process, especially in generating clinical and real-world evidence.
Since 2023, he has additionally joined Medical Valley Solutions GmbH as a market access specialist, and serves as CEO of FastTrack MedTech GmbH, Medical Valley’s industry-in-clinic platform. His work focuses on accelerating innovation, evidence generation, and sustainable market access for digital and medical technologies.
